Menhir walked down the street, lost in his thoughts of Marsh and Mirage. He suddenly realised he had been virtually ignoring Zed these last few hours. He turned to his companion with a wide smile: "Hey, kid, tell me you have some fake ID so I can buy you a beer?" he asked as they walked into the bar.

"Oh, ummm...." Zed frowned for a moment and then his face lit up with a smile. He held out his hand and the metal from within his body leaked out through his finger tips to form and ID. It took a moment for the metal to change it's color and texture, but after a minute or so, it was done. "I definetely have ID," he said with a laugh.

Menhir's barrel laugh startled a little old lady ambling slowly along the sidewalk. 'My apologies, Madam,' said Menhir apologetically as the lady mulled about hitting the tall stranger over the head with her purse.

They walked into the bar, Menhir bought two beers and joined Zed at a table not too far from the door where they could both see whoever entered the bar. 'So, Mr. Zed, where now for us band of happy few?'
